does anyone know if the rear shock is rebuildable and how much is the kit to rebuilit if not how much for aa new rearshock

 

Your rear shock should be rebuildable, and if you go with a new one you should go aftermarket like works or ohlins. That will probably set you back about $400. I know someone selling a rear shock for an 88 so if you are interested email me and I will forward you his email.
