I was wondering how fast your bayou 220's are. My cousin has a 1994 bayou 220 with a cobra Quite series muffler. It will hit 54mph on about a 1 mile road. Thats getting every bit of speed out of it thats possible. He hardly ever does any work to it and it still runs good. It is almost as fast as my honda 250ex on top speed. He was wondering if you know how to make his bayou go faster.

I have hit 54 mph on my 220. I have a K&N power kit with a cobra Utility series exhaust. According to my manual the 220 A1 thru A10 have the same gearing. I have hit 54 running with larger tires, also it was checked by GPS in a open field with a lot of bumps in it.

I may be wrong but I think your top speeds are a bit high for the bayou 220. The top speed for a stock bayou 220 is 43mph. How are you guys clocking them?

My bad honda250ex i didnt see that you had a pipe and filter on it. I always thought the magazines were pretty accurate, like i said before i might be wrong. I know that the gps system is accurate so maybe you guys are quite a bit faster than i thought. I have never rode a bayou 220 nor the 300 but i figured they would be slower than 52 - 54 because thats all the Mojave and Blasters are getting. But Ill take your guys word for it because you guys have rode them and i havent.
