Oil check on Prairie 650

When checking the oil on the Prairie 650, do you check it with the dip stick screwed in or just by putting it in to the top of the threds?

You check the oil level with the dipstick screwed in.

Thanks for the Info GrizzlyJim, this may sound like a silly question but I didn't see it in the owner’s manual and on our little Honda it specifically says the opposite. It says NOT to screw it in but to just check it where the dipstick hits the top threads.
