Winch info

In all honesty, all quads on the market do not supply enough amps to power the 2,000 lb. winch at full rated power (ie 2,000 lbs.). With that said, the only difference between the 2,000 and 2,500 is the different solenoid on the 2,500 and the larger wiring, along with different switch. They both utilize the same motor, and are of the same size, same casing, housing, etc. Basically it's a preference as to which switch you like, and if you prefer to spend the extra $100+ for the upgraded 2,500.
As for prices, I don't know that for sure-I think somebody mentioned atvpartsdepot or something like that was pretty cheap. Somebody else will have to tell ya for sure on that one-sorry I can't help. Which ever you go with, get a good ****** block, it will double the power of your winch, and make it easier on the machine as well.
Best of Luck, Happy winching!
