What is this? Dirt Wheels, Nov.01, Pgs. 66-67. Don't tease us like HONDA did. Either poop or get off the pot!

there was some one a while back that posted this photo that ditwheels has on this forum a couple of months ago. The only part that sucks about it is it is supposed to be an auto sport quad. I dunno if thats such a good thing or not. Dont see how they can keep the weight down and have a belt tranny in a sport quad. Anyway this is old news. Dirt wheels is getting slow with there info lately. Thanks to the internet we find out stuff before they even publish it. I have a feeling its going to be the way the raptor was. Yah know the spy photos thena couple of issues later they will show us the real thing. The only thing i am afraid of is kawasaki has always had good engines but there handling usuially isnt all that great. Maybe they will make handling priority this time.

Actually for a race quad an auto would be nice. If they could keep the quad under 400lbs and have adiquate suspension with good power an auto isnt bad. I rode a full race polaris sport that had an aftermarket frame with a arms instead of struts and it only weighed 412lbs. It was actually pretty nice. Your always in the right gear. The only thing that was bad is the roost factor isnt all that high on an auto cause you cant snap the clutch to get any roost. It says in dirt wheels they will be releasing 2 models one auto and one manual. The auto will probably be the first out the door. Followed by the manual wich will be a 400-500cc single cylinder. I realy cant wait for all the manufacurers to get there quads out there so i can decide what to buy next.

i can see were a an auto tranny would be good for racing but still i'd rather have a manual transmission. and also a lot of the races i race in don't allow automatics. besides i like the clutch it makes things more interesting.

Yeah, Automatics are nice but they would just make me even more lazy! . The spy photos in Dirt Wheels show dual exhaust. I don't have the magazine in front me right now. Thats about all I can remember at the moment, except that it was a hind shot. What ever happened with the KXF 250 they had 2 or 3 protypes they were winning races, then what?
