Kawi rep called me back on clunking and whining on 650

He talked to some people and they said the whining is normal. They also said the backlash in the transmission (clunking on deceleration) is normal. If you take the converter cover off and put the bike in gear (bike not running) and turn the driven pulley left and right it duplicates the clunking and there is significant play. To my surprise he said that was normal.
