I just got my black screened POS Maier hood yesterday. I wish I had done a search before ordering it-I haven't found too many good opinions of Maier on this forum today. Anyway-this thing doesn't even come close to fitting my stock plastic-it doesn't line up going down the sides to the front-any ideas? I think the 250r style scoop looks pretty cool, but it sure has some poor workmanship for $30.

 

I have a Maier smoothie hood and it fits great. I bought a screened one for my fiance's Mojave and it fits like crap. Check out my web site for pics of both Quads.
