Prairie 650 & Cost
#5
I bought one of the first ones $6990 + tax. Runs great after some warranty work and adjustments that you have already read about on other threads.
I will not buy from that particular dealer again.

I will paste the quote I got from a dealer below. It is noted this dealer is 3 hrs. away but not a bad price.... Getting ready to buy....
here is the paste/quote:
Dear Mike,
We received your e-mail! It's $5995.00 out the door. No dock fee, no prep fee and no frieght fee. You bring in $5995.00 and you leave with the 4-wheeler.
Thank you for your inquiry

i paid 6100.00 out the door last week for a 650 with warn 2000 winch and camo seatcover installed. dealer in columbia,s.c. gave me the yamaha promo on the winch. dealer also included trailer hitch.i feel this was a pretty good deal but its the 4th 4-wheeler ive bought from him. remember that there is currently a 200.00 salesman incentive offered from kawasaki to your salesperson so they will eagerly push the kaw over the yamaha. my dealer sells both. i also have a 300 prairie that my daughter drives and its comfort prompted me to sell my 2000 kodiak and buy the 650.

I paid 6500 each for 3 of them. They were 3 out of the first 4 at the dealership. I thought this was a good deal. The dealership went out of buisness about a month later. Now we have no say at the other dealerships when we want after market stuff like hitches and stuff. You should now at the max pay 6300.
