[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]I was wondering if anyone could tell me what types of quads are usually being raced at motocross tracks in the 4 stroke class. I have a 300 lakota that I am slowly upgrading and was wondering if it would be practical to try and race it or should i try something else. Any sugestions would be appreciated. I know nothing about racing quads and was just thinking of maybe racing at the local trak for fun only. You got to start somewhere , the bottom is the best place to learn.. Thanks

 

I would like to try my lakota.

i don't see any reason not to.
you may have some issues that come up but what quad doesn't.
I'm going to the races this week end I'll let you know if any lakotas thier.
Have you played with your carb at all?

 

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I've got it all worked out, I didn't swap the carb with the Mojave after all. I just did some tweeking. I do need to put in a new clutch though, it's slipping bad. It runs like a bat out of hell though. I've got my GPS ready for today when I get home.. I'll post some numbers tonight.
