Im just following up on my post of last week (Problems) I found that one of the air screws was incorrectly installed from the factory the washer and the seal were reversed, since making the change the bike seems to work better idles ok and doesn't stall. I havent had time to take it out and pound it yet but at the very least were getting closer. So in closing don't automaticly assume its your cables as i have found out there may be other issues with this bike.

What air screws are you talking about? I still haven't solved my stalling problem. I can get it to idle good for awhile then if I take it for a hard drive when I stop it stalls. Is this what yours was doing?

How many miles do you have on it? Mine did the same thing until i had about 200-250 miles on it.Now it is fine.

Mine has 450 km(280 miles) on it. It worked fine until the dealer readjusted the pilot screws to make it burn richer. They did this at about 300 km.

mudseeker i was talking about the pilot screws you can adjust them all day long it wont work. If you take your air box cover off and remove your filter will it idle? When acceleratin at 70kms and up dou you here a sucking noise?

What does that mean if it will idle without the airfilter ? I'll check it tomorrow. It will idle good if it's not warmed up ( if I only drive for a minute or so) or if I don't give it alot of gas before I stop. If I give it alot of gas and let it off it will rev high for a couple of seconds and then it starts idling slower and slower till it stalls. Also what would the sucking noise above 70 km/h mean ?

It idles faster when I remove the airfilter and it didn't stall. I don't here any sucking noise above 70 km either. I'm going for a good run this weekend so I'll see how it works then.I got it at Adventure Motors. I live the same distance from both dealers and got the better price from adventures. Where did you get yours ?

Im almost sure its your pilot's . if you have time you should take them out and check to see if they were installed incorrectly at the factory like mine. Im going on a run sunday so ill let you know if its working right.
I picked mine up at Freedom Cycle I must admit they are really trying to get things right service so far has been great. My father was in the cape last weekend for a rum he and some friends from Port Hawkesbury unloaded in cregnish and went to port hood and back.

I had my bike to the dealer today and it was my choke cable. After telling them several times there was a fix for these cables they called Kawasaki and found out there is. They told me it's not the cable that is the problem, it's the return springs that are too weak. The problem now will be getting the new parts because they're on back order. For now they disconnected my cables at the carbs. It'll be a little harder to get started when it's cold but once warmed up look out!
RMK15 how are you making out with yours? Was it your air screws?
