Hello:

I have a 99 Mojave and I would like to give it a little more width. I have seen post on here before about spacers on the front. I have noticed that some people say they are not good for the front, but I don't really know why. I want to get spacers for the front and back, but first I want to find out how good or bad they will be. Has anyone ever had problems with the spacers on the front or back. If you could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Spacers on the back are okay unless you are really doing some big jumping, which will eventually warp your axle.

Spacers on the front is where I ran into some guys not understanding the concept before, and it is too hard on here to give every detail as to why. On the front, using spacers instead of A-arms will make the steering harder and puts a greater load on your wheel bearings. I'm not saying to not buy spacers, they do their job. It is just important to know that there are side effects to running them.

White brothers did a article and said 1" wheel spacers did a graet job to the mojaves handling.
Now dura-blue spacers $80 a set of two.
Do you think douglas .190 +1" offsets would be cheeper or less stressfull.

I to wanted the wheel spacers, but sence I have to get rims any way I am going with the offsets.

A good hint for the mojave as well as the lakota, handle bars, higher with 1" more pull back, also an excellent cure for harder steering.

hello:

Thanks for the replies. I don't ride motocross at all, I ride in the woods and stuff like that. The highest jupming I do is maybe 4 or 5 feet in the air. So do think it is all right to have them I wont be jumping high at all, because there isn't too many jumps out on the trail, just small ones.
