I have some solutions to the mojave lighting problems.
I have some more testing to do, but what I did was use a small battery with a small inline regulator, I ran the stator leads to the battery and then ran the ignition and light off of the battery, and it worked.
I also witnessed a little more punch off of the bottom end, perhaps the spark was better with the ready available juice.

I guess I would like to hier from lurch or some one else who installed the electric starter and and hier about what performance gains they experienced when adding a battery to the mo.
