Mobilfluid 424
Multipurpose Tractor Transmission / Hydraulic Fluid
Primary Applications
Recommended for top-up and refill of transmissions, differentials, final drives, hydraulics and power steering systems.
Recommended for wet brakes, PTOs and hydrostatic drives in farm, contractor and industrial tractors.
May be used as a replacement for engine oil up to SAE 10W-30 for hydraulic and transmission systems (NOT as an engine oil).

I've been testing some oils and I found some to be much the same, but I have found some to actualy run cooler tranny temps.
Keep this in mind when using different oils.
I also use a analysis lab, but not many have access or $$$ for this.

Just a little .02

It seems that it would be better to run Mobil424 in the front diff.also since this is what Mobil424 is for instead of putting engine oil in the front diff..

why wouldn't you want to run synthetic gear oil at the recommended wieght
