DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE DG PIPES ARE ANY GOOD? IF NOT WHICH PIPES ARE THE BEST? WILL THE KLR250 BLACK BOX MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IN POWER? HOW MUCH HP DOES THE MOJAVE MAKE ANYWAY?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

I have a DG RCM pipe in my Mojave and its junk. One my other Mojave I have a White Bros., but soon be getting a FMF. Go with a White Bros., Big Gun, Super Trapp, or a FMF Mega Max. Just a black bow alone will not help much. It will just raise the rev-limiter and advance the timing. You usually din't need to change the black box unless you get cams.

I run the Supertrapp IDS it was recommended to me by Four Stroke Tech (they built team Kawasaki's race Mojave). The intermediate pipe is a straighter route then the White Bros. S-bend pipe. My friend had a alum. DG on his 200x 3-Wheeler and the mntg. brkt. kept cracking and he would have to get it re-welded. F.S.T. can modify your black box and raise the rev limiter for $80 but then you need stronger valve springs. I have these mods along with head porting and 11.5:1 piston. These changes really made a difference. It cost around $750 and it was worth it! I sent my head and black box to FST and they did the work.
