Well, I have read stock goes 74.75 MPH. I am guessing you could hit 90MPH with the right gearing. If I'm wrong, don't b1tch at me, I am just guessing here.

If you are looking for top speed then have someone clock you with a radar gun. I guarantee it will get there very fast.

 

Well i would use a radar gun, but its not my quad. the guy wants to trade for my warrior. i was just wondering if any could tell me by the mods it lists..thanks again

 

If it runs good it will be like night and day going from your warrior to the tecate. They really accelerate fast, but typically don't handle as well as other old 250s (though you can easily fix that). Make sure you go over it carefully if you are trading as these older machines tend to be beaten on. Especially look for cracks in the engine cases or frame, and take it for a good test run.

ltracerx is right in that stock they go around 74 so this one probably goes a bit faster, but will get there in the blink of an eye.

 

So in other words, you are saying an old stock Tecate has the same top speed as a 650 DS, and is higher than a Raptor or Banshee? I knew they were supposed to be faster than the LT250R and Fourtrax 250R, but that seems high.
