installed 250r shock on the mo today!!

I got my 250r rear shock in the mail today. I had purchased it on ebay. I had to cut off the spacers on the swingarm but besides that she was a perfect fit. It made such a big difference in the ride and since its a threaded adjustment and you have adjustment on the can it enables one to really fine tune the shock for their weight or riding style. I recommend this to any one who wants a shock upgrade but can't afford or doesn't want to spend the $500 or more companies want for aftermarket shocks. The 250r shock is much better than the mojaves stocker. I'm glad I made the switch..

I think you would like the rear 250r shock for sure. It has a much better feel to it and doesn't seem to bottom out to easy. Its real easy to put on too. It also weighs less than the stock shock. Its atleast a couple pounds lighter. As far as the front shocks go- I know the 250r shocks are a little longer but if I almost bought some and I was going to cut off the shock mount on the lower a-arm and relocate it a little bit farther down (closer to the ball joint) and I think this would of made up for the length but I'm going to order some progressive baja magnums(238.99) or some works(298.00) from dennis kirk.
