My Prairie 650 died, Anyone ever seen this before?
#1
I took the Prairie out for a spin for the first time in about three weeks yesterday and it did some strange stuff. Has anyone ever seen this????
I started it rode down the stree about 1/2 mile and the thing started to sputter like it was running out of gas but it's not, then the electronic spedo and all other desplays went wacky. The thing ran well enough to get me home but it would only run at just a high enough rpm to engage the transmission and move at about 5mph.
Here is the clue I hope one of you know what it means is: When I turn the key on the Reverse and Nutral light bling together and fairly quickly, I figure this is some type of error code but I don't know what it means. I think the problem is electricle or electronic in nature. Any help would be great, and of course the thing is just now about 3 weeks out of warrenty!
Thanks

The belt deflection switch has been hit by the belt, It does everything you said when thwt happen's, your belt is out of spec or something, take the cvt cover off an you will find the little switch toward the top near the middle reset it and put the cover back on, my did this once.
