I recently purchased a 650 and noticed that it was snorkeled pretty well from the factory. where i ride, there are a lot of water crossings and so far it has done great...just pop up the from end and ride, but does anybody know if there is a weak spot in the factory snorkeling that needs to be modified? i would hate to find out the hard way.

NICE SET UP! I havent got to ride my in any deep water yet it was all frozen when I got mine. No one has complained about the snorkel system on it yet,but people have extented some of the vents.

the tranny exhaust is all i have done so far. it was a real pain to find something that would fit water-tight over that oblong hole, but i found something that would. go to a hardware store, and get a black rubber 2" to 3" adapter for pvc pipes. with a little stretching the 3" side will fit over the opening then all u need is some 2" pvc or hose(what i use).

Are you calling the clutch cover upper vent,"tranny exhaust" the rubber boot, the one you have to pull to replace the rear spark plug?if so, OK! And were did you run it to.
