I got my float valve today but I didn't have a chance to change it,probaly next weekend. Did yours run bad once in a while when your valve was bad. Mine hasn't been running to good lately. Once in a while it seems like it wants to stall out when I'm wide open. If I back of the throttle it runs but very gurgily and usually when it runs like this there is a lot of gas coming out of the carb.If I open her up it almost stalls out then it picks up for a second and then it wants to stall again.
Do you think I will spoil this float valve if I run it in the cold again?

I really didn't ride it much when I discovered it. Not becuase of that, just no time, then my buddy offered his 400EX for the day. I took it and left mine since I hadn't fixed it yet. However, it didn't want to start and the plug would be soaked. Yeah, I did ride it somewhat around the yard and it didn't feel like itself. Since it controls the fuel level in the bowl and doesn't stop it, it's constantly flowing too much fuel. I hope this is the answer to your prob. Keep me posted, if you have 1/2hr. to ride, then you have enough time to replace it. It's really simple. Good luck!
