My friend just sold his Scrambler 400 and bought a new Kawasaki Bayou 4x4. What do you think of this would you have keep the Polaris or sold it? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

Well, the only thing I like better about the Bayou is the fact it is a 4 stroke. I am not a 2 stroke fan. Other than that, I would have kept the Scrambler. It is faster and has MUCH better suspension.

 

I believe i would have stuck with the scrambler even though it is polaris and is automatic is is faster and 4x4 just the same so the only difference is the 4 stroke motor

 

Everone has different reasons.Maybe the guy didn't like spending all week in the garage to get ready for a weekend run.

Smart move. Never know if the polaris will run. Very dated machine- polaris, and tippy.

 

It depends on why he traded it. Maybe he dumped the Scambler because he wanted a real utility atv. The Bayou would outwork the Scambler any day of the week, just like the Scrambler would beat the Bayou on the trails.

 

yeah maybee he wanted a real 4 wheeler like the bayou. i got a 220 and it will go on trails that 300 and 400's can go on.if he wanted to go muddin he should of traded but if he wanted to race and ramp he should have kept the polaris or just bought a v force
