Just curious what everyone is getting when (if) they get their check. I'm gettin back 2 G's and will probably get the progressive springs, All skid plates, and tires. I can't make up my mind between the bearclaws and the mudrunners in 26". I will mostly use it for hunting and hard pack fire road roosting. Does anyone know if the read diff skid plate is needed (or will even fit) if I already have the hitch?

My check went to buy a green 650. I bought a Warn 2500 winch new in box on Ebay for $287.00 delivered. I also ordered rack extenders for the front and back. Of course I also got the Kawasaki Mossy Oak camo pattern to cover the entire machine. Also installing a hitch. Everything out the door without tax (excluding winch and winch install) came to $6,800. Very good deal when the same dealership also could have provide me with a Polaris 700 for $6,600 without any extra accessories. Can't wait to ride against my buddies with Polaris 500 HO's and Magnums.

If your getting back two thousand Uncle Sam loves you getting your money interest free for almost a year.
You should adjust your payroll taxes because you are over paying big time.

robh,
The point I am making is over a 10 year period of time that should be money that is invested in some sort of Index Fund, Mutual fund or like myself individual stocks. That $75,000 that your letting uncle Sam keep over the years could easily be in the amount of $150,000 if invested properly.
Now myself I want to pay the government every 3 months and keep the money out of their hands until the last second.

My tax bill of $1500-$1800 that I won't pay until 4/14 is keeping me from buying a new quad until much later this year at best! You fellas getting such large refunds need to wise up. You are'nt getting anything free! You prepaid your own refund. The govt. does not have any money, it just takes it from hard working people like us!

bobcatv8,
Very well said.
I just hate to see the way our government spends our money sometimes on studies such as to see if the donkey in an inclosed pin prefers to eat green hay or brown hay.

I know you guys are right, I already got back $1342. Ive been having extra tax money taken out so I do get a large refund, but now that Im geting older and wiser with my cash, I need to stop that practice and start investing it for me! Human resources will be hearing from me tomorrow!

Hey Raptor, you seem to be forgetting that some people get a large chunk of money back from the closing costs and interest they pay on mortgages, property taxes, medical expense deductions, per child tax credits, and business expense write-offs. I'm one who also doesn't believe in using Uncle Sam for an interest free bank account, and my W-4 is adjusted accordingly, but I still get back around $2500 each year.

This year I did my part to stimulate the economy and bought a new GMC pickup to haul my quads and bikes around in. (Boy, the Tecate-4 sure looks good in the back of my new truck!)
