Well keep me posted Gaff. I fear that my riding time is going to be cut to a min at this point. I am hoping a praying that I will not end up having to sell the Lakota. Just rcv'd 60 day notice that we are all out of jobs on 5/17/02. The job market here is so very tough right now on top of that. My wife unempl. is getting ready to run out and she is still not in a job. We have sent over 200 resume's for her and nothing. I am concerned right now and I'm gonna have to be very careful with my money at this point. Sorry, kinda worried right now.

This is terrible news stebob.
It's times like this that realy make you sit back and realize that my problems are very small.
Some 20 years ago I ran into the same problem and then again about 15 years ago. My family and I have never forgot how it was to be unemoloyed in a strugling job market.
I only can tell you one piece of advice. Don't in any way be scared to travel near or far to find employement to sapport your family, don't wait 60 days to see how things work out. Being on the road working and living on bare minimums to sapport your family has no shame in it.
Going broke and having no job for even 6 months can set you and your family back for years. Not trying to scare you, but running the roads or living out of state for 6 months a year is only a blink of an eye in a life time.
Your next decissions will impact the next ten years of your life and the longevity of your family.
I moved to the south many years ago for the reasons that you are facing. Although a devoated conneticut yankee, I have found moving, reloacating or what ever I had to do realy did wonders for my family.
I'm very sorry about the adversity you and your family has to face and can only wish you the best of luck in the world.
One other thing, the easiest thing in the world to do, is give up, just get tougher every day and don't take no for an answer.
Things will work out. In the mean time any thing me and my family can do to help, don't hessitate to ask.

Thank you Gaff!! That means a lot to me. Luckily enough I had a great interview with another company 2 days before this came about. However, I'm stuck with a 2yr non-compete agreement with my old company that doesn't expire 'till November. I'm just gonna have to ride the wave and see what happens. I always have my family first and I will not fail them. I'm confident it will work out one way or another. Thanks again for you support.

Thats graet news, atleast they are calling you in for the interviews.
I don't know what the job market is like up there, only what I hier on the news. Down here we never miss a beat do to the oil field and the lack of raw fuels in the country.
I seen the coal, and foscle fuel industry picked up in ohio and kentucky, any type of work within these industries is looking good for the long term.
I remember you telling me about your electronics training. This is a excellent field to be in, as well as communications.
I've spent 20+ years in the electronics/automation field and there is always a demand, try these avinues as well.
Graet to here the graet spirits you and the family are taking in this time of adversity, times like this test you in many ways!!
