HEY ALL-- My friend "Wrecks" found a new tire source. I am in the process of trying to do business with them. <www.atvnorth.com> Check them out. Great prices. FREE SHIPPING on orders over $125!!!

I tried ordering from atvnorth and couldn't get my order for a few weeks. I think they are on backorder of the wheels and tires I wanted. I went to rocky mountain and got my tires and wheels. C-series wheels and 27x10 front and 27x12 rear Gators. Great tires! They ride smooth, tons of traction, and I didn't lose any top speed. It's a little harder doing a wheelie, but can still be done rather easy. I am very happy with them. I also got them in 4 days. They measure about 26 1/4 with 7psi.

ROOFER--- Did you use the stock lug nuts on those "C" series wheels???
Do your tires clear everything/all the time? Are they a rough riding tire at low speeds on hardpack? Do they hook up on hardpack?

I used the stock lug nuts, but not the washers on the front wheels. The nuts that came with them didn't look like they would fit very well and hard to get a socket on them. I also heard of some people having trouble with the lug nuts getting loose if you don't use the stock ones. The tires a little (not bad at all) rough at slow speeds below 5 mph, but that is on tar. I am willing to say they ride better than stock above 5mph all the way to 60. I've only been up to 60 with them, so I don't know after that, but probably just fine. The hook up great! I was getting tired of having to be in 4x4 all the time in the snow. Now I only need 2wd. It seems like I didn't lose much power at all. Don't get me wrong, I can tell they are heavier. I still smoke stock HO's. I have no rubbing anywhere. The tires just barely stick out of the fender wells. I still can't see the tires while riding. I think they fit perfect. I am doing a whole bunch of riding next weekend and will probably have new pics and more info then.
oh BTW, like others have said...it does go into 4x4 alot quicker and easier.
