This message is not a bash, since it is a friend who has had this problem. About 2 weeks ago, we were going riding, and he was on his way to the local gas station to fill up before we rode. He called me to come get him........it had died and wouldn't crank back up. I came and pulled him back, and we got it started, but it was running very poorly. Took it to the dealership, and they say it needs a new crank, bearings, and some other odds and ends like gaskets and all. Oil level looked fine........don't know what caused it. It's 4 months out of warranty too. Later,

Waylan

Something about that doesn't sound right, better take it to another dealer, not saying that it not all that stuff, but highly unlikely on any quad, just because it was running bad.

It wasn't just running bad. It was hard to start.......no power.......plus a knocking sound from the engine. He said the oil pressure light came on seconds before it lost power and died. I think the rod bearing spun, and ruined the crank and rod. About the best dealership in the south is the one who diagnosed the problem. They have it disassembled and determined what all it needed.
