I paid $84 to have the oil changed!! They said that they could not get diff. fluid so they didn't change it. On the way home I stopped by a Carter Machinery plant purchased the oil and changed it.

I got my 10 hour service for free. It is something that my dealer does as a show of gratitude for buying at his place. I thought this was the norm until I read this post. It sounds like all of you got hosed. Jesus! I'd be pissed to if after spending 7200 clams and then after ten hours use had to pay 180 bucks for a service job.

Well Luvin My 650, all I can say you got a good dealer when it comes to service charges Im happy for you.I got mine back today and the total charge was $200.01. $10.78 for oil filter, $5.58 for drum oil, 8.78 for gear & wet brake oil,$255.00 labor for full service,$13.60 for supplies and 1.26 for sales tax. They took off $94.99 in discounts. (probably because I moaned so much) Bless their hearts. Yes I definitely got ripped off. They got me this time but never again. Ive learned a lot from you guys here and I sure do appreciate the info from all of you. Its a great country eh. c-ya GOD BLESS AMERICA

After 500 miles my dealer installed the winch, changes fluids, adjusted the valves, and checked everthing else for $180.00. I find that it's not a bad deal considering I didn't swear at my ATV once throughout the process.

LOL. at least i didn't get screwed.
