650 Owners : Does anybody know what type......

Does anybody know what type of headlight bulb is in the 650?? As close as i can come to fig out what it is a type H7. I thought it was an H4 but its not, I would like to get an aftermarket bulb for my bike and I hope you guys could help on this matter.

Rob-- Go to your auto parts store, they will match it up. You also can buy a higher wattage bulb(more powerful/brighter).

You have to watch going to much higher because it will also produce more heat. Becareful it may melt the plastic, if you do go with a higher bulb let us know if it does any damage.

I'll check it out. I used to run LARGE lights on Rally cars. The lamp hsngs. should be OK, IMO.
I am going to install a "steerable" 3rd lamp. Most likely will use a Bosch or Cibie lamp ***'y. for this. Will keep you all posted!

I was thinking of trying those auto bulbs that look blue instead of white. Anyone try this?
