I rode my Mojave yesterday for the first time since I lengthened the swingarm 4 inches, widened the rear 5 inches with wheel spacers, and flipped the front wheels inside out. Its a day and night difference now, powerslides have a more "controled" feel, much more stable. Havn't done any hill climbs yet, I'm sure the front end will stay more planted.
The only thing I would have done different now looking back, would have been to just get a wider axle instead of the spacers, the fit and finnish of the spacers is kinda cheap.

The spacers were $65.00 from Ronnies Mail Order, they do the job, but an ex would prolly be much stronger. I think I remember seeing extended axles around the $300-350 dollar range.
The front wheels dont look bad at all flipped, to get the best idea on how they look would be to try it yourself on your quad,(I dont have any pics). Flipping the wheels made the front approx 3-4 inches wider. If you want to do this, you MUST move the valve stem. Its really easy, with the help of a tire machine I had mine done in about 45 min. First, break the beads loose, then pull out the old valve stem, then pull a new one through the WRONG way,(so the cap is inside the tire) then on the other side of the rim, drill a new hole for the relocated valve stem, install the new stem there and presto, a cheap widened front end! If your wondering why ya gotta do all this work, its because the caliper will hit the original valve stem, I had about $7.00 in 4 new valve stems from local dealer.
I went riding this evening and did some hill climbs, more powerslides in upper gears, many doughnuts, the difference is unbelievable. No more unstable feeling at all, and I'm still running stock tires!
I hope this info helps, take care, Bryan
