Anyone know who makes a good set nerf bars for the Mojave? Where to buy? I've found a couple places that have DG but I believe these are steel. Other than weight, are there advantages to going with aluminum?

I got my DG alloys from Dennis Kirk for $162. I think they are the only company who still makes aluminum nerfs for Mojaves. AC used to, but they quit a while back. I think that even Kawi stopped offering them.
I wanted aluminum for weight savings, that's about it.
Plus I think they look better, if that counts for anything.

What's up:

I was just wondering when you install the DG nerfbars, if you have to remove the foot guards from the Mojave. I would like to get nerfbars and also keep my foot guards on so my feet don't get back to the tire.

Thanks

Check out Graydon. Not sure if they make them for the Mojave or not, but they are the nicest nerfs I've seen. If you trail ride mostly, you may want to reconsider nerfs. I can't stand them for trail riding, they get in they way more than anything else.

You have to remove the foot guards with the DG ones. The ones that Kawi used to offer left the foot guards in place.
I checked Graydon's website before I bought mine a few weeks ago and they didn't offer them then.
I agree w/stebob about the trail thing-they do add more places to get hung up.
