Mojave makeover ,how hard would it be?????

I just wanted to know how hard it would be to put a KX250 or a KX500 engin in a mojave?is it possible.Is there some kind of adapter kit u can buy or somthing?thanks for all your info.Wouldent it be cool though,it would make the mo so much lighter and faster and quicker!

i have heard that with that much power it would rip apart the mojave chassis also it would really vibrate i dont think there is a counter balancer in either

Will Yokleys quad is kx-250 powered and it vibrates like crazy. It is really tireding to ride. His chassis can handle the vibes because its a roll design chassis. The mojaves chassis is no where good enough to handle that. It would be awesome even with the 250 but if you could find a tecate motor it is counter balanced so the vibes would be minimal.

I think i will try to find a tecate motor on ebay or around hear and i will start my project!

Back in the 80's Jackie Meadows used to race a Mocat. It used a Tecate motor in a Mojave chassis. It did pretty well and then Kawi released the Tecate 4. I don't think it required too extensive of mods to install the motor. They did add Works shocks and a longer swingarm to get the chassis up to par with the motor.

There is a tecate motor on ebay right now but it is from a three wheeler and it is not the same motor plus it isn't counter balanced. You won't have any luck finding a tecate motor.
