I pulled the fuse out of the KEBS to see what would happen

The 650 has almost to much engine braking for me, so I pulled the fuse out from under the seat and gave it a test ride. To my surprise any slowing down above 5 mph comes only from the engine compression ( it felt just the same with the fuse or without it above 5 mph ), under 5 mph I could feel the clutch when it kicked out and then I could feel the difference without the KEBS hooked up. I put the fuse back in, because under 5mph I probably want to stop any way.

That is good to know. I like the KEBS, but if it breaks, now I know I have a choice.
