Put the holeshot xcrs to the test today!!
#1
Well today was my first day out in the gravel pit with my xcrs.I was with my buddy with a warrior with shredders and another warrior with mudsharks. Obvoiusly on the track or trail the mudsharks were no way as good as our tires but I'm sure in the soupy stuff he would have us beat. I am very impressed with the xcrs as an all around tire. My buddy with the shredders is as equally experienced as I am and the only time I found the shredders to be better was in the snow this winter. He could pretty much wheelie in thefluffy stuff. As far as gravel goes I find the xcrs to be noticably better. I have an easier time side hilling in soft dirt and as far as climbing goes they just seem to keep climbing and climbing. When it comes to hard packed surfaces I can't seem to keep the front end down. The shredders to seem to corner slightly better but I still love the handling of the xcr. Just the tires made a 200% difference in handling over the factory balloon tires. I recomend them to anyone wanting a low profile all around tire plus they are light weight too. Hope this helped someone going through a tire debate right now!!

I just took my swingarm off and used a sawz-all to cut the spacers off of it because the 250r shock is wider at the bottom than the factory mojave shock. After that it just bolts up, everything else is the same.
