More specifically, what do you tie them with and where do you tie the rope (or whatever else) to the bike? Please be very specific about the entire process as I dont want to break the 650 or myself. Thanks

Hey there, i cant answer the question about where to hook to the bike, but i can tell ya, ya might wanna use a log chain for pulling. I have been pulling stumps out in back of my house (for building a new home) and a rope just doesnt cut it. A log chain will "bite" better into the stump and i think is less likely to break.

Does the 650 have a hitch bracket? I would hope so.

I'm use a heavy chain that I hook a loop over the ball on the trailer hitch. If I don't have ball on the hitch, I use a screw pin anchor shackle in the hole in the hitch, and attach the chain with a loop.

I haven't pulled anything by attaching to the front.
