Just happy to be a 650 owner! I saw the new atv mag at the store today and they had a shoot out again between the 650P, 700Pol, 660 griz, 650bomb. And after all was said the Prairie was number 1 again.

Yeah two publications named it 2002 ATV OF THE YEAR also. I posted a topic saying this and it mysteriously was removed from the forum. I don't know why, unless some moderator's feelings were hurt. It wasn't in any way a negative post, but they removed it. Oh well.

Just to let you all know, the kawi 650 has won every big bore shootout that I have read or heard about with the exception of ATV magazine atv of the year.(they named the polaris 700) This makes at least 3 0r 4 mags,a book (buyers guide) in canada,i'm not sure of the name but they named the 650 atv of the year. Also atv television named the kawi tops.I will not knock the other quads but look at the KAWI 650...best brakes ever put on a quad(you don't have to look at replacement on the rear till 10000 kms!!! (thats right 10000)!
The front alone will stand the quad on end!! The first V-TWIN ever in a quad!!
This engine is the most potent engine ever dropped into a 4x4 quad period. The hop up potential of this engine is staggering...just wait and see what people are going to do!!!This machine is so detuned it's not funny!! Believe me people the things this engine will do will make your pants wet. This quad has perhaps the smoothest ride of any non IRS machine,(If Kawi wanted IRS they would have had it) I'm glad they never,as i really enjoy the sporty nature of this machine.IRS is great for some and not so great for others.
The front locking diff. is great also, pull it in ON THE FLY and pin the throttle (excellent) Kawi showed alot of inovation with this quad and it shows
there are so many positives on this machine and sooo little negatives ( tires big deal, most stock tires are useless)It's no wonder this quad is talk of the town.I could have put my $10000 can. on any machine but this was it by far!
Long live the king of beasts and QUAD OF THE YEAR!!!
