650 Pumping oil up a vent tube need help
#1
my wife was riding my 650 a few days ago and when she brought it back the top cover and the engine was covered in oil. i took all the plastic off and found the oil was pumping up through a vent tube in the handle bar cover. it looked like the far right one was wet. i dont know which breather that is so i need some help to find out which it is and why its doing that.

From what I can see in the manual, the right one is the rear diff breather. The front diff is next to the left, then the radiator fan motor breather, then the 2wd4wd actuator motor breather is far left.
Did someone over fill the rear diff? Or put the wrong stuff in it? Does you wife drive with her foot on the rear brake lever? I'm not sure what that does, but possibly overheating the rear diff, I doubt it though.
You say it has nothing to do with the engine's oil, but is the engine oil ok? Not overfull, no water?
