I just wanted to know if u had to adjust the valves on the mojave?I have had mine for about 2 years and have never tuched them!But now it is smoking so is it time to adjust or what??is it hade to do??Thanks

The smoking probably has nothing to do with the valves. The reasons for adjusting the valves are this, if they are too loose they may cause a 'slap' or rattle to develop and won't open as much as allowed/designed-leading to decreased performance. If the are too tight they may not close all the way-that can cause burning of the valves, backfiring, low/poor compression, and decreased overall performance. On some motors a happy medium is reached where the valve seats wear at about the same rate as the valve train components wear allowing for long intervals between needed adjustments.
