650P display not working!

anyone know why my display wouldnt be working? the LCD portion doesnt work, but the little LED's (reverse light, nuetral light, etc.).

Pretty hard to say without being there to look at it.I would check easy stuff first.Start with checking the fuses(they're under the seat)Then pull the handlebar cover off and make sure all the connections are plugged in properly.(there are 4 screws that hold that plastic piece on)

That's all the help I can give you.

Figured you probably had already, guess its time for a wiring diagram and a test light..

Alot of LCD displays will have a ribbon cable internally. This ribbon cable will slide into a connector of some kind that is attached to the lcd display. This maybe dirty or has come out of the connection. I have not had mine apart to see actually how it is built but you may want to check it. It could be something quite simple.

I had this problem. It is hard to see, but it is probably a loose connector. It is under the air box lid, next to the shifter. The wired connectors are connected to the frame by little clips. I'm sure you'll find it there, but you will need little finger to get it back on without taking the plastic off. I can get you a pic if you need it. Let me know.
