anyone know of an easy way to make rim spacers??
Or does anyone have any comments good or bad on the ones that are out there for sale??
Anyone know of a cheap set of rims avaiable in Canada for a 650 ,I need a 2 inch ofset instead of the stock rear 3 inch ofset.
I am having rubbing problems with a set of 26 innch 12,12 vampires--they scrape on the gas tank shield.I mounted em on the stock rims.

Any help would be appreciated.

Go get some Brass bushings from your local tractor store or whatever you have to slip over the studs, making an inch of space between the wheel and hub... I wouldn't go over an inch long, I'm not saying it's impossible, but your hubs and wheel will probably be stressed. Get some bolts just like your stock studs, but an inch longer (or however much you're spacing). The stock studs pop right out with the Hammer. I have a friend who did this on his trike and it's holding strong to this day... he went with alumunium bushings o.75" on each side.

Sorry fr not gettin back to u sooner.
I used to live in Kentville ,was a member of the Fire Dept there fr 4 years.
Do u know Randy Graham?? He was best man at my wedding.I used to work with him at Hitz's on the ambulance.
Small world Eh?
I have had good luck in the past with Royal Dist. for sled stuff so I will continue to try them fr buggy gear as well.
I ordered a set of wheel spacers today so the rear Vampires will clear the gas tank shield.
June 16th a bunch of us are going up to the camp fr a weekend campout.
Should be a few buggy's around then .
