rejet p650

i just my unifilters for my quad and was wondering if anyone used these yet, they are about 1 inch each and i have 6 to use to open up my air intake. i dont know if i need to rejet or not any info would help me out alot. also if i rejet who has help on this subject?

It seems that half of us are using uni vents around here.
Every quad is different. You need to check your plugs to make sure. With experience, you can tell how a machine you ride alot stands as far as jetting. If it runs real bad and gets better when warmed up, it may be OK or may be lean. If it is good cold, but loses power when the engine warms up, it is rich. Be careful not to drive around under heavy throttle when it's lean, because lean can damage engines. Rich may make dark smoke. Lean has more tendency to cough (intake backfire).
My recommendation is to get the dynojet kit, since the dealer wants so much for jets, you may not be saving much if you do enough iterations.
The kit also improves bottom end response.
Drive down the road with the engine warm, near full throttle for a while. Then hit the kill switch, take the front plug out and see if it is too light.
You should be fine on your needles, but may need to go up a size in front and rear main jets (the rear is about 4 numbers, or 2 sizes larger than the front main jet)
