I was at the dealer last friday and the sales guy told me that their sales rep from Kawi was saying that they should be coming out with a 750cc sport model by fall but not to say anything. I figured it was a bunch of BS and I told him that but he stood by his word. Anyway, that's what he said. It would be sweet if they did.

Oops! I guess the kawi's out of the bag.

We'll have to wait and see if it's true.

I hope they do, but don't get too exited. I was at my Suzuki/Kawasaki dealer the other day looking at z400, and we started talking about what Kawasaki may have coming out. I mention may the 650 v-twin in a sport frame, He said, "well, i'm not sure about that, But I can't wait for Honda to come out with that 3 cylinder 750cc" LOL, he was dead serious, And I didn't have the heart to bust him DOWN to reality. So I quickly left!

In the last 10+ years that I have been into ATV's and Watercraft...I have never seen the Dealer know something before a magazine or the net. I swear that they are the "least informed" about everything. I have found that one of the best sources is from pro riders and mechanics for pro riders.

yes, it would be heavy, but it couldn't possibly be as heavy as a scrambler, or i'd hope not at least. i think it would haul *ss, though it definitely wouldn't be a motocrosser. scrambler sales would drop ten fold, which would be a good thing, they need to be redesigned. i think there's quite a market for this type of "sport" quad, if you'd like to call it that. polaris has been hogging it, it's time for somebody else to give them a run for their money and push the industry further. the 650 v-twin in anything lighter then the prairie would rip it up, that engine is unstoppable. much stronger then the polaris twin.
