The 2003 , 650's will be Aztec red like the 360's , Kawasaki is dropping the 400 and 300 from the line up as well. The new Red is sharp , I have a buddy the has a 360 , it is almost a candy apple red.

Alltoys. I bought mine at Pro-Am in Calgary for $9300 with a winch. The boys over here in B.C. didn't want to deal. They were sticking pretty hard to their price of $10,300 so I went to Alberta instead. My buddy bought a YZ426 at the same time I bought mine, so we hooked up my trailer, he paid for most of the gas, and we made a road trip out of it!! We saved about $2000 on the two bikes by the time taxes were in.

If they fix the belt problem or make a manual shift for the 2003 model I will be first in line to get one.

My Brother just had his 650 in for some service due to belt problems, and asked about the 2003's. They told him they had made design changes concerning the belt problems on the 2002's? They also thought they should have some new ones on the floor by the end of July. Only time will tell!?!?

Hi Area51,

Can you tell me where you seen these pictures of the 2003 Kawasaki Prairie 650 V-Twin? I'm looking to buy one in October, and would prefer the 2003 model.

Thank You,

IronBear

I like to see them kick drop some of them bayou 220s,300s lakotas and then kick us a new yokley 250 2003 tecate or a klx 365 mohave,500 twin mohave, drop the 2 cyl 650 into a sport chassis and whoo doggy watch out.I hope kawie dont use suzis 400 what a boring world it will be if that day comes.I saw mays dirtwheel 94 hp nos powroll raptor, now imagine kawies 2 cyl 650,now thats what I call potential and progress 2 times the fun and power

IronBear; it is in a Kawasaki add in the June issue of DirtWheels. The 360 is in the right foreground, and the Prairie 650 is in the left rear of the photo. You can tell that the red is deeper than on the 2002, and also note the bronze colored rims and brush guard/rack like the ones normally only on the green 650. Locks much better I think.
Hope this helps.

Ironbear,

I like the blue Raptor. Very sharp. So is the girlfriends Bayou.

Area 51, that 650 looks sleek as hell with the racks taken off. Take a look at all the crap I have on mine. I am loaded up right now. I may have to do what you do in the summer and then load mine back up for the hunting season. I did not think it would look good without racks until I saw your's.
