I just noticed that Kawasaki had they're 2003 atvs on display as of June 2, 2002 at the Agricenter International in Memphis, TN. Display/Demo 2003 ATVs & Utility Vehicles, and 2002 Motorcycles & Watercraft. Here is the link. Anyone out there go?

Hi Bram,
Who told you about the design changes, concerning the belt problems that the 2002 models are having? I would like to know what Kawasaki specifically changed. Any comments anyone? How about KnowsAllot?
Thanks,
IronBear

You would think they would do something about the belt issue. I know personaly 3 differant people with the P650 and all 3 had a belt problem in the first few months. The 4x4 is so awesome that most guyes are willing to pay a 100 bucks a couple times a year for belts. But I think there is goeing to be hell to pay if the pullys start wearing and costing the owners several hundred bucks!!!
As many belts that have been replaced already, you would think Kaw would be killing their selves to fix the problem.

I talked to a Kawasaki customer service rep today, and asked him when we could expect the new 2003 prairie 650's to hit the dealer’s floors? He told me that they could order the 2003's now. I also asked if there where any changes, he said there weren’t any changes except for the camo! Called two different dealers, and they didn't have a clue about the 2003's. The rep said I should see them hitting the floor in July.
