Anyone heard of any new changes for the 2003 model???

I would guess that the owners manual will say "2003" on it. (=

 

Some will have Advantage Timber camo plastic.

The only that I've heard about Kawasaki sport/utes for 2003 is that they were dropping the Prairie 300 machines from the line-up. They may even drop the Prairie 400. I would hope that they just boost displacement up to 500 so they have a more balanced selection (it doesn't make sense to have 3 choices in the 300-400 range).

 

Yeah, boost the 400 to a 500, and give it 2x4/4x4, with the diff lock.

 

I bet kawi wouldn't make a 500 because it would cut slightly into 650 sales.

 

Well, it certainly doesn't make sense to have a 360 and 400 4x4, as opposed to a 360, 500, and 650 models all in a line-up...

 

Have you guys noticed a price increase on this years lineup? My buddy just bought an 02 Grizzly. He has been looking over prices for the last 2 months or so. When he first started looking, he got a price of $9600, but 2 months later the price went to $9900. He asked the dealer what is up with that and was told that the Grizz is gonna have a healthy sticker on it for 03. List on an 02 Grizz is around $10,300, but the 03 Grizz is gonna be $10,700! ! ! ! ! YIKES!!!! They have made no changes to the 03 Grizz so it makes a guy wonder where the other $400 is going. I noticed on a local Kawie dealership that the 650 is now $10,600. Glad I bought mine when I did.

 

I saw a picture of a 2003 Red 650 that had the Bronze colored rims and racks off the Green 650 rather than the Silver ones that the Red 650 had for 2002. It looks pretty sweet. Also, the Red looked like a deeper Red, overall, the 2003 Red 650 that was in the picture looked much sharper than the 2002.
