Well I decided what i want and placed the order today. I decided on the Titan 589 M/T's with the ITP C Series rims. I was going to get the ITP 589 M/S's and then I found out they didn't have the rim savers. One last question about this topic, can I use the stock lug nuts...?

Thanks

AHHH... the lugnutz. You need to buy the ones with the 14MM flats. I bought mine from Rocky Mtn. ATV. They are cheap...Under $4.00 for 16 of 'em. It may be posible to use the stock lugnutz, but you would have to make an extremely thin-walled socket to clear the "wells" that the nut sit down in. I put a flat washer under each of the nutz, also. This was to keep the nut from gauling my new(expensive) wheels. I torqued them to whatever the factory recommends for the stock nut, 52 ft/lb. I believe.
Did you look a my pix in nyroc's site? I have "C's". Pic# 36 shows the wells or counter bores that the lugnutz sit down in.

Did anyone tell you that the 589 M/T's are 6ply? My TITAN 589 M/T's are anyway.

Yeah i know they arer 6 ply, I did more research on my possible tire choices than the average joe would do...Long distance calls from the work phone are nice too, hehe. I was able to call ITP, TITAN and Kawasaki and not have to worry about being on hold so long. I just ordered lug nutz from my dealer that are made for the c series rims and my P650 so we'll see what happenes when I get em...I also have sockets coming out of my @ss so I might have to grind one down hehe.....thanks

I think you made the best decision. I love my 589 M/T's and as far as limiting your speed...I hit 67mph on my 589's yesterday. And I felt safe and stable doing it. Can't get that out of many mud tires!

I am very happy with my stock size Dirt Devils. They are 6 ply and heavy (don't know weight) but the thing turns like it is on rails. If you go up to 26" or larger they have deeper lugs. The price is very attractive at East KY as well www.4atvtires.com
Just my $.02

I saw a review of tires. The main point they made is to get tires that do what u want them to do. The ITP 589 came in 2nd I dont remeber what came in first. They all so said that with a new 650 or bigger bike that tires dont realy matter becouse u have the power to move them along. I like the TIP 589 myself and that is what I am going to get. Another thing they said about the TIP 589 is they were gooin in mud and hard ground.
