nyroc, I tried removing the quiet core inser in my exhaust and lost 2mph. I then went up one size with the dynojet mains, still running needle in 5th notch. It then bogged more under acceleration (1/2 to 3/4 throttle). I am sticking with my current 132, 136, and 5th notch until I install my new snorkel. This setup is best for top speed and low end power, but it does have a slight stutter in mid range acceleration.

With the new snorkel and soon the cams, I guess it will be back to trial and error, tune and test.

crash, I think your studder is cased by the needle on the 5th notch. Might try 4th.

Yup. You are lean, if taking the core out made you loose High speed, you need more gas.

If adding richer jets then made it bog, you (and I) need to install smaller main air jets, and leave the fuel jets where they currently are.

I don't know where to get main air jets. My dealer can't figure out how to get them.

I DONT KNOW IF IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO OR NOT BUT WHEN MINE ONLY HAD 1 MI. ON IT I TOOK IT OUT AND RACED A HONDA RUBICON 500 AND ATE HIM BIG TIME. I GOT UP TO 64 MILES AN HOUR IN NO TIME. I DECIDED TO KINDA TAKE IT EASY (WELL EASIER) ON IT UNTIL I GOT MY 10 HOURS ON IT AND GET IT SERVICED.NOW WITH ONLY 10 HOURS ON IT IT FEELS LIKE MORE OF A DOG THAN IT DID THE DAY I RACED THE HONDA.FROM A DEAD STOP (EVEN IN GRASS) IT KINDA BOGGS FOR A SECOND THEN TAKES OFF. I ASKED MY LOCAL DEALER IF I SHOULD CHECK THE BELT DEFLECTION ALREADY AND HE SAID NO.ANY SUGGESTIONS? I TOOK IT OUT THE DAY I GOT IT SERVICED AND IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET UP TO 64MPH. I HOPE BY RACING IT AT ONLY 1MI. ON IT DIDNT HURT ANYTHING.CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME ANY POINTERS? IS WHAT I DID WAS THE DAY AFTER I RAN THE HONDA I ADJUSTED MY THROTTLE DOWN SO IT WOULD ONLY RUN ABOUT HALF AND I GAVE IT HELL UNTIL I GOT MY 10HRS ON IT. RAMMY

It's just behind the throttle lever. It is a screw.

600, you can see it in this picture from nyroc's page. It's at the very bottom, below the handlebar on the right.
