I owned a bayou 300 for a few yars then sold it for a faster quad.Anyway, a bayou has made it back into the family.I just bought a 96 220 for my Mom and she loves it.The shifter must be moved up to high to shift in to next gear. She has to raise her foot of the peg to shift. How do I adjust the amount of travel nessesary to shift.I would think it is similar to my old 300 but I wnt to make sure.I still have my 300 manual.Thanks.

Oh i used to have a 1985 bayou 185.
i had that problem with it to. You have to take the shifter off and when you tighten it back on put the shifter down lower than it was before. It should be easier to shift.
