Well I did it the new z400 is in the shed and the Mojave is in IN sold to a friend. I got the Z for $5500 OTD so I had to do it. Now all I have to do is ride it alot to get used to it, it's alot different then the Mojave, as expected. But I will still frequent the Kawasaki page just to see what people are doing.

Congrats, Jeffksf3!! I'd actually love to have a white one in the back of my truck right now!! I think it's a great machine.

awsome jeff.

I nearly bought one last week. Believe it or not I thought my fellow kawi riders would label me a trader. I currently am a bit nurvous on buying any of the Z's as a couple problems have arisson. I will use the time it takes for the KFX to come out to make my decission. I may wait for 04 models.

The lakota has been so reliable for me even in it's race dress that I am very spoiled. Once a month oil change and valve adjustment and thats it. Heck I could probably go to once every three months now. It has been so rock solid and I've raced it minimum twice a month with about 4 practices a month. Now thats reliable.

I just realy don't have time for braek downs or problems. Infact I believe if all these poeple seen the use of my machine and the reliabillity to go with it they would be absolutely amazed. So you can see why I'm spoiled.

But hay graet having you here best of luck, and keep intouch.

I hear ya! I'm not too brand specific, as long as it isn't red! I would have liked to wait for the KXF but now was the right time, I'm getting married in 2 months(Sep. 14).
Stebob, look for my other posts on the Suzuki page about the dealerships in Indiana, it may help. I don't recommend white plastic though.
Bossman, the ELC doesn't effect the kick starter, it is still usable.
Gaff, my mojave was very reliable and I could jump just about everything my friends on their exs were doing,

Jeff,
I know what you are saying about the white plastics, but man, I think it looks really hot. I did see your other posts, I appreciate that info., however, a quad is not something I will be able to purchase anytime soon. You are going to love it.
The motor is a little tight at first so take it easy for the first 5 HRS and check your plug gap. Mine was only 020 so I opend it up to the 032 its supposed to be.
How come you didn't wait for the Kow version though?
