M-10, looking FWD to meeting you. You, too Grandorvis.
I think we should do a warm-up loop, then come in for gas. Say 20 miles or so. Then go out and burn up a full tank -50-60 miles. The warm up will sort out riding speed, style, and order. IF more than 10 riders show, I think it would be a good idea to split into 2 groups. What do you all think????? Ideas here?.
Who uses FRS, and what channel should we operate on? How about CH-1/ Sub ch.-1(1.1) Up on the mtns., your cell phones SHOULD work, the mtn. tops bristle with towers, anyway!
All these ideas are only guidelines, NOT chiseled in granite. Suggestions?

Grandorvis--- To answer you question: yeah, you most likely won't need to refuel, BUT, I recommend carrying some just in case. I will carry a flat Fuel-Pak(3.25 gal)
CHECK your P.M.'s

Looking forward to it,

NO ONE uses FRS radios? Great way to stay in touch, especially in a large group.

Monte--- I think they all can be adjusted to a specific FRS freq. We'll try to put a radio on the lead bike, and the last(sweeper) bike. It helps to keep the flock together, NO ONE gets left behind.

Hello guys sorry to have been away been a little ill Allergies caused me a sinus infection and it hit pretty hard - I use FRS radios have two Cobra Rechargables and two Motorola ones- they are great. As for the Sunday ride I am game however ROE is the leader he knows the place like the back of his hand if he is game and I will try and get Robbie to come as well...Get ready for a long ride however on Sunday as ROE knows many a mile up Miller's Creek (only problem with this ride is you have to park your vehicle adjacent to the 4 lane highway, however we have not had any trouble there)
