I just got back Saturday from Hatfield Mccoy. It was my first time and It won't be my last. It was awesome. We stayed in Man at almostheavenly rentals. They were really nice and clean. Couldn't believe how nice the locals were, everywhere we went they stopped us and talked with us, we stayed right beside the mayor of the town, he was a very friendly guy, everytime we was out in the yard he came over and chatted for awhile. The trails were awesome, pretty tough though, I rolled my prairie once and got busted up a little. We had to take the front rack off, it was bent into the front wheel. Don't worry about gas, I had more then plenty of gas to make the loop. Half the fun of it is riding into to town and getting gas and eating. Try to find some local Hole in the Wall place to eat. The people are nice and have you sign in their log book. Wish I could meet ya all down there but can't make the 9hr trip again. Have a good and safe trip. Dennis

DennisC-- Glad you had a great time! I love the place. Have been there 4 times in the last 18 mo.
I usually stay in Man, at the Colonial Motel. Nothing fancy, just basic. Fairly clean rooms, good beds and showers. The owner is very helpful, he treats you well.
I am looking FWD. to seeing a few of you folks on Oct 5th at the Bear Wallow t.h. Did you ride the Dingess-Rum trails? There was about 70 mi. added this Spring, I think. My favorite trails, very diverse.

Yes we rode Dingess, It was my least favorite of all. It was more like rough woods riding to me. We will be returning in spring. Talk with ya later. Dennis

Guess it is time to call the good folks at the Colonial Motel, and get a room! Sure hope they get some rain down that way. The dust can be terrible in places.
Just under a month now. I will be interesting to see how many show! Oh, well, Monte and I will have a good ride. It would be interested , seeing the Rincon in action, too! ALL BRANDS welcome.
