lakota clutch replacement
#2
Steve,
I used K&G factory clutches (800-821-7657) It's less than $50 for kevlar friction disc and heavier clutch springs.
The clutch is very easy to replace. I did use a impact on both clutches retainer nut. Not realy sure if you can get them off without a impact.
The centerfugal clutch needs pulled and the glazing cleaned from it's drum. I used a dremmul with a 60 grit drum sander, worked perfect.
Once you replace the clutch performance is much better.
Oh I have a set of springs and clutch plates, email me if you want them.
