Wheelie bars come to mind....
I pulled a 1965 Suburban that was factory lengethened to be an ambulance out of my garage and up a small grade. I would guess its weight to be about 5000 lbs.

My '96 Suburban (Sold it) and '02 Yukon XL ring in at 8000lbs. You may have been pulling more than ya though PD.

The 'Burb and Yukon have a GVWR of 8,000. Actual unloaded weight of each is around 5,500 lbs.

I was at this ATV pull this weekend the ATV were pulling the same thing the tractors pull in a tractor pull but smaller. so it was like a tractor pull but with atv and they would go till they couldn't go any more. anyways the dudes that were really into it threw sandbags, rocks, weights, custom weights, i talket to one guy he had 1250 pounds in weights on the quad plus he was pulling the thing. So if you want to keep the front end down try throuing some sand bags on the front rack, 4 50 pounders should do.
